| Yacht Waimarama Features: A 41 ft cutter rigged, pilot house, sloop designed in Whangarei in 1975 by Terry Wells, an American designer living in NZ, and built at the Orams yard in 1979, for Pacific Ocean cruising. Waimarama means "Moon Beam on the Water" in the local Maori language.
The style of the yacht is often described as "pretty" and has a "Herreshoff look" about her with the sweeping sheerline and bowsprit. |
