Fox II overview:

Fox II is a 50 ft, 22 ton gaff-rigged ketch.Built in 1922 as a cargo/fishing boat which was bought by Coastline in 1995 and converted to a passenger-carrying charter vessel.

Sailing on the classic 85-year-old ketch FOX II is a special way to experience the beauty and history of Akaroa Harbour, one of two drowned volcanoes which form Bank's Peninsula.

Relax and enjoy rare marine life. Watch Southern Ocean birds, penguins, albatross and more. You can also join the crew in a 'hands-on' sailing experience if you wish.

Public 2 hour trips: Sailing December to April at 11am and 2pm daily.
