Both Day excursions and extended overnight trips out into the Islands of the Hauraki Gulf, tailored to the interests of our guests, including fishing, kayaking, wine trails, bush and beach walks, horse treks, golf and much more.
Options Include:
3 Hour dinner cruises for up to 12 guests. $400 plus catering.
6 hr Day cruises, with fishing for up to 12 guests, plus catering.
Season Special - extended cruises for up to 6 guests $650 per day, plus catering. Two day minimum.

| Yacht Chandos Features: MV CHANDOS is licensed for up to 16 guests on day cruises and has accommodation for 3 couples for extended overnight charters. Specifications
MV Chandos is a classic semi-displacement motor launch, with a spacious main saloon fitted out in a combination of Native New Zealand Kauri and exotic mahogany.
This creates a soft and ambient atmosphere for custom made charters throughout the picturesque waters of the Hauraki Gulf and Auckland's Waitemata Harbour.
Ideally suited for small corporate functions - business meetings or simply entertaining clients or out of town guests, 'Chandos' operates under a Safe Ships Management Certificate and is licensed for up to 16 guests on day cruises and has accommodation for up to three couples for extended overnight charters.
Crews quarters are in the enclosed bridge leaving our guests with the privacy of the main saloon and cabins below. Facilities aboard include fishing tackle, Kayak, snorkelling equipment, an inflatable with outboard motor, barbecue and picnic hampers. |

Although I am a qualified Commercial Skipper, having cruised throughout many parts of the world, my real passion for the sea comes from a lifetime sailing among these islands of New Zealand's Hauraki Gulf. Which I consider to be not only a safe cruising ground - but among the world's best kept secrets in, travel destinations!
Aboard our classic Motor launch "Chandos" I will take you to picturesque bays and the best fishing spots. We might also gather shellfish and together with your freshly caught catch I will do what I enjoy most - preparing in true "kiwi" style a meal as good as the magical surroundings in which you will dine.
You may want to sample some of the fine wines of Waiheke Island, chosen from a stopover at this island of vineyards, olive groves, and quaint cafes and craft shops.
Together we can tailor a cruise itinerary, which offers you the best blend of relaxation, adventure, exploration and enjoyment that this special place on earth has to offer. |
